Question: Why could the app’s basecode not be updated to V3 on a custom domain?
Answer: The domain’s Cloudflare proxy caused the editor to treat the domain as misconfigured and prevented it from processing changes. Disabling the proxy allowed the editor to recognize the DNS change, after which the basecode was successfully updated to V3.

User URTFUJ1TP: I am unable to update the basecode for my app <http://rapidscan.aelabs.com|rapidscan.aelabs.com> to V3 for some reason - could I get some help please?
User UBBJX2EHM: Sorry this got missed investigating
User URTFUJ1TP: Got it handled, it was related to the cloudflare issue
User URTFUJ1TP: I think the editor doesn't want to process changes if it thinks the domain is misconfigured
User UBBJX2EHM: ahh ok the code base change is serial with other updates so could have held that up
User UBBJX2EHM: yeah that is possible
User URTFUJ1TP: It did it perfectly as soon as I disabled proxy and the editor recognized the DNS change. Always works perfectly on non-custom domains too
User UBBJX2EHM: hmm let me confir,
User UBBJX2EHM: yes its on v3
